LIYANA HEALTH CARE PLC would like to recruit potential candidates for the position of   Liaison Officer to assign at Head Quarter in Hawassa town.

Position Summary

The liaison officer have to establish mutually beneficial, encouraging relationships, facilitates, communications and coordinates activities among two or more people, agencies or organizations  and serve as a reliable contact point with which stakeholders can address concerns.

He/she should also conduct periodic evaluations to explain additional possibilities for collaboration. To ensure success as a liaison officer, he/she should always be in line with company’s strategic objectives. A remarkable liaison drives constantly effort to prevent obstacles to open communication.

Responsibilities: 

General Responsibilities

• Reviewing company norms, processes, and goals to maintain liaison officer knowledge.

• Identifying opportunities for meaningful collaboration within and across different industries.

• Securing collaborators' acceptance and willingness and discussing factors to be observed. 

• Conveying our company's interests and working to further these through collaborative efforts.

• Explaining, discussing, and implementing actions that expand our collaborators' goals.

• Perceiving and working to remedy concerns surrounding our collaborations.

• Devising appropriate frameworks to derive maximum benefit from all partnerships.

• Reporting on the effectiveness of existing and prospective collaborations to guide future undertakings.

Specific Responsibilities

• Exchange information from different health institutions according to client’s problem.

• Evaluate and organize client’s document.

• Identify whether the client problem managing by in patient or outpatient service or instant examination.

• Explain properly the type of service and treatment for the client as well as his family.

• Always aware of physicians schedule in all service providing centers.

• Support all client’s together with other staffs starting from registration until returning to their home.

• Explain the amount of service price to the clients or families.

• Communicate the client’s thorough telephone while they are at home to know their service satisfaction level.

• Facilitate registration and examination schedule on advance through telephone.

• Receive and send referral feedback.

• Follow the client’s results which they are sent through social media.     

• Prepare reports regularly.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

• Bachelors of Science in Public Health (Health officer) or Nursing field.  

• Valid professional certificate and renewed license.

• 3 years’ work experience in health institution providing clinical services especially in emergency unit. 

• Experience in liaison professional is advantageous. 

• Knowledge of huge medical terminologies.

• Good communication ability.

• Good listening and receiving phone communication.

• Give attention always to customer.

• Available to work 12-hour day and night shifts.

• Computer literacy and data base knowledge.

• Ability to hear and speak multiple local languages.
