Job Description
Our IT consulting company is looking for a Network Engineer to join our dynamic team and work on a project with the largest organizations in Ethiopia and beyond.
Duties and Responsibilities
Experience in working with large, multi-stakeholder projects, including co-workers, partners, and clients.
Ensure that the projects are running on schedule, on budget, and overall meet the agreed-upon objectives.
Effectively communicate with customers (including executives, technical and non-technical staff), partners and internally. Consistently update stakeholders on project status.
Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Escalate issues, as early as needed, to bring visibility and ensure blockers are removed
Industrial Certificate in Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto, is a plus
Proven track record in the effective leadership of a team of highly skilled Network and Security specialists
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical subjects and present solutions to senior-level management
Excellent working knowledge of network and security technologies. This includes but is not limited to: Network switching and routing across Cisco, hardware, and software, Software Defined WAN, Software-defined LAN and network segmentation, Data center and cloud connectivity, Wireless networks,
Experience with cloud and datacenter technologies, including how they are designed, how they are built, and how they can be defended
Experience researching, designing, and implementing defensive security systems for a globally distributed environment
Possess a strong understanding of host and network-based access controls
Proven experience in installation, configuration, and commissioning of Controller based WLAN network
Experience in installation and configuration of Network Management systems and Network Access Control systems as well as security tools and technology

Job Requirements
Qualification
BSC degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields
Minimum of 4+ years of work experience
Excellent written and oral communication in English
Active CCNP certification is mandatory
