Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Category Manager.
The Role Summary:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient sourcing of assigned material group at the right quality, right quantity, at the right time at optimal cost without interruption or delay in the flow of work. The Category Manager develops and implements sourcing strategies that ensure the flawless sourcing and delivery of materials in line with the Company’s plans, policies, and procedures.
Result Area:
Lead the category
· Be a true and trustworthy business partner to the business and its stakeholders
· Analyze and identify opportunities to maximize the contribution of the category and the category results
· Identify and challenge the demands and needs (i.e., quantities/specifications and service levels) of internal stakeholders within your category
· Collect market dynamics and stay up to date with trends and risks of the market
· Drive and challenge internal stakeholders to obtain optimal results
Suppliers Performance Management
· SPM carried out for the contracted suppliers
· Ensure suppliers evaluated against the KPI in the contract.
· Ensure all suppliers evaluation reports with the score card is communicated to all Habesha internal and external stalk holders.
· Provide support to procurement officers and Managers to conduct quality SPM review.
Contracting & Contract Management
· Leads the creation of contracts in line with the Habesha Standards and in cooperation with Legal Affairs
· Contract coverage for all suppliers particularly
· Ensure 100 % supplier Master data and contract tracker are updated for all Habesha suppliers (and digitalized).
· Ensure justifiable sourcing documentation maintained for all preferred suppliers.
· Ensure all in -house contracts are stored in a record form in a timely manner and create financial summaries for each contract records.
Risk Assessments
· Evaluates risks of doing business with relevant suppliers
· Obtains insight into the financial health of suppliers
· Assures suppliers work according to Habesha’s Standards
Continuous Process Improvement
· Makes sure that all the contract activities are in line with the Habesha Procurement Policies
· Monitors and evaluates performance of suppliers and own company activities to improve customer satisfaction
· Develops and monitors Key performance indicators for the respective suppliers
This role is positioned at the professional level and requires someone who has experience in the procurement and supply chain profession. This person will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive, dynamic, and exciting work atmosphere.
MBA/ BA Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management and equivalent work experience, ideally 6 plus years of relevant experience with good communication.
