Cadila Pharmaceuticals (Ethiopia) P.L.C, a Joint Venture Company between Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, India and AlmetaImpex P.L.C, Ethiopia, put up a Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing facility for Tablets, Capsules & Liquids at Akaki, near Addis Ababa.  The aforementioned Plant is one of its kind in Ethiopia and the first Pharmaceutical Formulation Manufacturing Plant of the country to receive Certificate of PICS - Conformity in 2011 as per EU guidelines, to comply with the WHO-led regulatory requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & also received cGMP certificate Ethiopian Food & Drug Authority.

To fulfill our long-term vision and objectives, we need young people to work with us in the following vacant posts.

Process Recruitment & Selection

  •  Collect budgeted and approved hiring request form with updated job description from concerned department’s managers.

  • Advertise vacancy internally or externally as per the approved hiring request form of the company.

  • Register applicants who fulfill the required criteria for the vacant position.

  • Prepare short list applicants and forward to the concerned HODsafter advertisement dead line.

  • Communicate candidates screened for assessment by concerned HODs and arrange schedule for examination.

  • Finalize hiring process based on the approved assessment result.

 Coordinate and conduct induction and training. 

  • Ensure that training is conducted as per the company SOP training time table.

  • Ensure that all the data and information related to Induction and Training recorded, signed and documented properly.

  • Facilitate induction for new employees and implement as per the company SOP.

  •  Summarize and report over time & other payments.

  • Collect all over time work data report from concerned departments in the factory, summarize and facilitate for timely processing.

  • Check for the accuracy of the overtime data report collected from concerned departments with the attendance report.

  • Process casual workers payment when their contract is quitted and sends to Finance department for processing. 

Handling employee medical checkup

  •  Facilitate all necessary payments for the service provided as per the approved request.

  • Prepare and transfer list of employees to medical facility before due date of medical checkup.

  • Conduct medical checkup to all factory employees as per the company SOP. 

Handle Accident/Incident &First Aid materials

  • Prepare first Aid kit with complete materials and place at selected locations in the factory.

  • Prepare check list for first aid materials content and control properly.

  • Check first aid kit at regular intervals and keep the record properly.

  • Collect Accident/Incident report and facilitate for corrective action.

  • Make sure that the number of first aid materials used is proportional with the Incident/Accident report recorded.

  • Collect report from responsible person of concerned department and summarize accordingly.

  • Perform other Additional activity as required.

Salary and Other Benefit Packages: Attractive and can be determined with negotiation based on the candidate’s previous earning, qualification and competency. 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  •  BA in Management or Human Resource and Minimum 6years of experience

Following skills are must for the position;

  • Computer Literacy (in MS-Word, Excel, Power Point & Access Application)

  • Proficiency in English
