We are pleased to announce the vacancy for CVM Integration Engineer within the Information and Technology function in Safaricom Telecommunication Ethiopia PLC. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below
Brief Description
Reporting to Senior CVM specialist, the CVM Integration Engineer will be responsible for implementing solutions that integrate the CVM(Customer Value Management) platform to other systems across the enterprise while ensuring the solutions meet organization needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement and document integration solutions for the CVM platform with other enterprise systems.
- Work directly with Business Analysts, solution architects and key stakeholders to ensure that end to end integrations will achieve the business requirements in CVM.
- Integrate new technologies into existing CVM platform or develop new features from scratch while ensuring that complex systems work together properly.
- Develop automated monitoring solutions to ensure efficient support and operation of the CVM platform.
- Collaborate and review code with other developers in engineering and operations to ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of technical standards as set by the team
- Apply agile methodology to deliver integration requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- BS or MS in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of Experience in systems integration and software engineering
- At least 2 years of coding experience using Java/python/R
- Experience with Cloud technologies and cloud native services including: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, TLS/SSL concepts.
- Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of various integration protocols e.g REST, SOAP, SMPP, SMTP
- At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle and MSSQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
