Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and administering appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients. It requires an expertise and willingness to assist people and provide them with information and solutions; and ensure effective medication use and become the people’s trusted ally against health issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of medications for patients
- Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
- Pricing and filling of prescriptions
- Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription
- Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
- Ensuring availability of drugs by delivering them to patients or facilities
- Maintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations
Job Requirements
- BSc in Pharmacy or Clinical Nursing with 3 to 5 years of proven work experience as Pharmacist.
- Valid license to practice the profession
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Outlook)
- Hand on skill to communicate, pay attention to detail and critical thinking
- Skill to work on Pharmacy Information system
- Expertise in dosage administration
- Attention to detail
- Commitment
- Respect the company rules & regulation of safety
