Job Description

  • Controlling the overall manufacturing process in an industry to ensure optimized production.
  • Supervising and directing the technical personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure manufacture of high quality and cost-effective product.
  • Planning and Organization of a production process and ensure availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for a project.
  • Preparing the cost estimates and budget required for a manufacturing proposal.
  • Facilitate maintenance, repair, or replacement of damaged equipment.
  • Involves overseeing the selection and procurement of manufacturing raw materials.
  • Negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure a fair bargain for goods and services.
  • Ensuring production complies with established quality control specifications and standards.
  • Monitoring and supervising the activities of production personnel to ensure effective performance of job duties.
  • Delegate and assign work schedules and tasks to technical employees.
  • Implement action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high-quality production.
  • Responsible the operation of Manufacturing, Warehouse, and distribution. 
  • Ensure Fonterra manufacturing and production personnel comply with HSW & FSQ policies when carrying out job duties.
  • Motivate a manufacturing team to achieve set objectives and target by setting up rewards for an achievement.
  • ·Organize training programs to enhance personnel job skill and knowledge.
  • Produce weekly or monthly reports for General Manager. 

Required Candidates: One 

Reports to: General Manager 

Job Requirements

  • 1st degree or 2nd degree in industrial Technology, Food Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Food and Bio process engineering field of study from recognized University
  • 8+ Years in production, Process and must have 3 years working experience in Food manufacturing Managerial level. 
  • Great interpersonal and communication skill
