Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervises coordinates activities of workers engaged in Cupping, grinding, blending, roasting, and packaging of coffee.
  • Sets up machines, like grinders filling machines.
  • Performs duties as described under quality manage.
  • Ensure high levels of quality coffee and service is delivered throughout
  • Responsible for our coffee quality control and establish & ensure our quality standard
  • Responsible for training new team members and/or current team members in both coffee and customer services
  • Responsible for training and supervising our team members in sanitation and safety procedures
  • Other duties assigned by quality Manager

 Abilities

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Manage own time and the time of others.
  • Knowledge of domestic as well as international coffee quality standard laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, organization rules.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Quantity: 4

Salary: As per the Company Salary scale but negotiable; Extra benefits, free accommodation and meals for site employees only.

Head Office: Addis Ababa Around Bisrate Gebreal Church near to Adot Cinema, at Africa Insurance Building 6th floor.

Job Requirements

Experience year

  • 5 years’ experience out of which 3 years as a coffee quality supervisor

Qualification

  • BSc or MSc Degree in plant science, Horticulture, General Agriculture and related

Other requirements

  • Good discipline, cooperation, commitment to work, Strong verbal communication skills, active at organizational and stress management skills, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
