Job Description
We are looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our HR department.
CHRO responsibilities include designing and evaluating career paths, overseeing all HR functions and crafting strategies that meet our business goals. If you think you’re able to help us transform our organization into a modern, productive and inclusive workspace, we’d like to meet you.
Duties and responsibilities
Establish organization design
Set-up and maintain an HRIS filing system in compliance with human resource policies, procedures, law, standard and government regulations including personnel, medical and educational files.
Establish onboarding and recruitment procedures
Preparing job descriptions, contracts, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
Outline regulations for compliance, safety & health
Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
Develop training programs and performance management methods
Monitoring employee performance.
Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment..
Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
Determine compensation and benefits
Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
Audit Preparation
Job Requirements
BA Degree in HR, management, business administration or any other related fields with minimum years of experience 3 years in HR department.
Knowledge of the principle and procedures of basic HR practices, local employment standards
Excellent command of both Amharic and English languages
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated excellent personal integrity and confidentiality
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability in Microsoft word and Microsoft Excel
