Position: Grants, Report and communication Officer

Job purpose Summary:

  •  Ensure the timely signature of donor and government agreements
  • Support the team on partners contract issues as well as technical content
  •  Review agreements and share to the team-especially on articles that need attention and action
  • Facilitation and arrangement of meetings
  • Support program documentation process in collaboration with other departments
  •  Support on Visibility and branding activities
  • Support on donor and government communications
  • Prepare, compile, and submit donor and government reports.
  •  Improve information management across emergency and humanitarian programming
  •  Support in the preparation of capability statements and other communication materials
  • Prepare, document, and share IMC’s success stories
  • Liaise with partner organizations for smooth relationship and partnership
  • On the first six months focus on project documents including reports and communications related to FRF project.
  •  Perform similar tasks as assigned by Supervisor 

Requirements

  •  BA Degree in Management, Communication or Similar Social science field with 3+ years of relevant experience
  •  Proficiency of Microsoft Office including MS Word, Power Point, and Excel, as well as email communications and application of other basic computer programs
  • Professionalism, Honesty, Integrity.
  •  Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English.
  •  Work experience in NGOs related to grants, reports and communications is preferable.
  • Proven experience in liaising with government structures.
