The Ethiopian Nurses Association (ENA) was established in1952 and is legally recognized professional association that represents nurses in Ethiopia, striving to standardize, and promote quality nursing services  to the society through research, education, leadership and good governance. ENA is a not-for-profit organization, which exists to represent the profession of nursing in Ethiopia, to promote excellence in the nursing practice and protect the public as well as the rights of nurses. 

ENA strives to provide and promote quality nursing services to the society through quality service, research, advocacy and leadership by standing for the rights of nurses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and administer website and different database
• Ensures the website of ENA is professional, up-to-date, and functioning as intended
• Creates and manage the membership system (upload the credentials of members and administer the system)
• Administer the social medias of ENA (including prepare news and posting)
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of the ICT systems
• Support the day-to-day operations related to ICT activities
• Implements ICT strategies and introduction/implementation of new technologies, system design development and maintenance; Install new software and hardware component.
• Manages hardware and software packages and efficient networks administration;
• Involves in ICT infrastructure budgeting, and acquisition of ICT materials: Develops and updates ICT Infrastructure annual plan and road map.
• Make analysis on the requirement and elaboration of internal policies and procedures on the use of ICT.
• Ensures secure, reliable and effective computing, networking and technology facilities
• Maintains effective communications with end users.
• Advise technical staff across the organization on available upgrades, bug fixes and security patches.
• Ensures and control the data centers/hosting server are well protected and safeguarded against intrusion 

Duration: For one year with a potential extension based on performance

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum of BSC degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT related works
• Professional certification (short term training certification)
