Cheshire Ethiopia is an Ethiopian Resident Charity and invites qualified applicants for the following post:

Diredawa Rehabilitation Center (DDRC) Manager report to Executive Director and responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the overall DDRC activities and the followings;

• Plans, organizes, directs and supervises the activities of the Center
• Designs and prepares project documents that are identified to fulfill the needs of Cheshire Ethiopia-Dire Dawa
• Maintains proper personal records of all employees and the general administration filing system
• Supervises and involves the staff and have staff meeting from time to time to improve their activities.
• Serves as a liaison officer in dealing with government authorities and other organizations of the area concerning administrative matters of the project and reports to the executive director of CE
• Prepares budget and annual plan of operation for the Center
• Checks the staff and sees that they are in their respective duties on time.
• Organizes local fundraising for the Center
• Receives notice of staff concerning sickness and approve leave for the staff of his section and on the recommendation of head of the section approve leave for the rest of staffs.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the activities of the Center.
• Approves requisition for payment as per the approved budget
• Checks and approves store and purchase requisition.
• Be responsible for all the center movable and immovable properties of CE
•  Maintains supervision over the store and accounts that proper bookkeeping are kept in accordance with the organization’s internal control system and procedure
• Creates smooth working groups in realizing the objective of CE
• Organizes the mobile outreach, CBID and vocational training in consultation with the head office
• Ensures that Center’s activities meet the overall goals and objectives of CE
• Ensures proper budget utilization at the Center
• Designs , monitors and evaluates projects that are identified to fulfill the needs of the beneficiaries
• Performs any other duties assigned to him by the Executive Director of CE or by his/her designee.  

Job Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation Management, physiotherapy, sociology, Social work, Biomechanics, P&O, Business administration and related field

 Experience

• 6/8 years experience from which four years at leadership position.

Required Skills

• Leadership and managerial skill, and knowledge of rehabilitation management
