Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Senior Business Analyst which is a Grade 11 position per the Company’s job grading.

The Role Summary

The role requires an individual with a finance business partnership background and a good understanding of logistics and procurement processes. The individual will need to have a curios mind with a love for crunching numbers to highlight insights with a drive and ability to influence stakeholders to implement recommendations and findings.

Result Areas & Responsibilities

  • Finance Business Partner for all aspects of Inventory, Logistics and Procurement providing commercial guidance & support to key stakeholders in these areas.
  • Accountable for driving a strong control environment, delivering operational excellence and contribute to process improvement in Supply Chain Logistics and Procurement area
  • Provides insights to business partners and department manager on cost reduction opportunities

What does the role involve?

  • Establishes and owns the financial reporting of performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting, logistics and procurement and monitors planned vs. actual performance and presents results to senior management.
  • Responsible for the quarterly standard setting & forecast process / annual budget for raw and packaging materials and logistics cost, challenging all cost assumptions to ensure best value & drive the sign off process the head of logistics & finance director.
  • Drive process improvement and cost savings initiatives to optimize all aspects of logistics and inventory management
  • Own the financial evaluation analysis for all capex investment on logistics and warehousing
  • Attend weekly & monthly operational review meetings for logistics and procurement department.
  • Support the Supply Chain Finance Manager with ad hoc finance & commercial requests from Supply Chain and Finance teams as required.
  • Process owner for the monthly closing process for logistics and inventory activities providing support to the general ledger team and factory operations team.

Job Requirements

The incumbent: This role is positioned at the Senior level and requires someone who has experience in the finance sector with BA Degree in Accounting and Finance , ideally 5 plus years of relevant experience preferably in FMCG industry with previous roles in commercial analysis.

  • Power Point, Excel - high level, SAP knowledge
