Job Description

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Master's Degree in Economics, Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Applied Economics Modeling and Forecasting, Project management, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, and other related fields of study. Training on the strategy management, transformation and change management, research and innovation, entrepreneurship and strategy management tools is advantageous.
  • Experience: Three and above years of experience in strategy management, change management and transformation, research and innovation, business consulting, policy making, academics, and related areas.
  • Language: Proven proficiency of Afaan Oromoo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.
  • Duty Station: Head Office

Main Roles and responsibilities

  • Actively engage in the strategy development process, managing the transformational and change agendas
  • Manage the alignment of the functional and business level strategies with the corporate strategy of the bank
  • Support the user organs in development of business and functional level strategies
  • Benchmarking and scaling-up of best practices and transformations
  • Regularly monitoring the strategic environment and provide prompt subject expertise on strategic issues that affect the bank’s business
  • Initiate and manage strategic initiatives across the bank
  • Organize and co-ordinate strategy session periodically
  • And other duties as deemed necessary
