Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Shift Mechanical Technician-II- Packaging duty station being in Debre Brihan

The Role Summary:

Shift Mechanical Technician-II- Packaging is responsible for execution of all mechanical maintenance tasks of Packaging machines independently under his shift; follows up condition of machines and handles breakdown maintenance activities in his shift.

Basic Duty and Responsibility

• Executes all types of mechanical maintenance of all packaging machines.
• Executes Preventive Maintenance activities of routine cleaning, lubrication, inspections and tightening of machines as necessary
• Identifies and communicates any abnormal condition that has potential to cause long stoppages of production
• Monitors basic condition of machines during shift production to ensure smooth operation
• Provides quick solutions to mechanical issues of machines in his shift
• Writes detail reports on maintenance activities done in his shift
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and actively participate in RCFA to find out root cause of failures
• Follow up proper safety guidelines during maintenance tasks, and reports safety risk incidents and ergonomic issues

Job Requirements

This role requires an experienced Shift Mechanical Technician -II - Packaging , who will have the opportunity to develop his/her career further within a very progressive Learning and Development environment, in a dynamic and exciting work environment.

• TVET Diploma in General Mechanic or any related fields. Ideally 4 + years of relevant experience in the manufacturing company.
• Experience in the brewing company is advantageous.
