Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage the department’s overall activities
- Supervise, coach, and train the department’s workforce
- Mediate and negotiate with customers, partners, and service providers
- Develop, maintain and supervise accountability systems for services and contracts management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics plan
- Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years work experience, 2+ years experience leading or supervising a team
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
