• Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers
• Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization;
• Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources;
• Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases;
• The configuration of routing and switching equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations;
• Liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis;
• Speaking with customers via Tools (SAV2000, email, phone…) for initial requirement capture

Job Requirements

Education and Major

• BSc degree in Telecom or Computer Engineering 

Professional Knowledge

• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued) or other vendor specific courses, such as Juniper Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE);
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools (U2000, Putty, WinSCP, Mozilla ...)
• Being on the user end of IP services is useful, as it gives him an idea of the types of problems that may arise

Business Skills

• Preferred Experience in similar position with Mobile Operator or Vendor
• Good command of English spoken and written 
• Able to work under stress 
• Must be a Team player as well as self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.

Project Experience

• Previous experience with similar position in mobile operator or similar Project 4/5 Years of experience

Language Skill: English

Other requirement

Level 1 for junior engineer (minimum 2 years experience ) and L2 for expert engineers
