Targets and deliverables

• Review and approve journal entries to ensure they accurately record the company's financial transactions and comply with existing accounting policies.
• Ensure that supporting documentation is maintained according to ERCA requirement and company policy
• Approve third party payments through accurate reconciliation of financial records
• Monitor overall Balance sheet item of the company and frequently check the accuracy and on time settlement of:
• account payables and receivables and deliver accurate aging report to relevant department.
• Communicate with department and accrue relevant costs at the time of the transaction date.
• Take the lead on monitoring company loan and settlement accuracy
• Make sure Equity and retained earning balance are accurate
• Be focal person on company intercompany invoice settlements communicating partners
• Ensure International payment follow-up sheet is updated and all the necessary requirements are fulfilled
• Ensure that financial operational activities are executed and delivered as per senselet policy and Procedure.
• Monitor and manage company spend within the established budget and recommend the best practice.
• Assist and provide guidance to subordinates on the proper accounting classification of more complex transactions
• Track, compile, and record project costs in fixed asset accounts; close out the accounts at the completion of the projects (generate cost-Build-up)
• Perform reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with summary-level account in the general ledger
• Perform month end depreciation calculation for all fixed assets
• Perform revision and update on the detailed schedule of accumulated depreciation and fixed assets
• Coordinate the internal and external audits of Senselet and ensure that audit recommendations are implemented.
• Manage and lead the accountant on the process of Monthly tax settlement (VAT, withholding, income tax and pension)
• Coordinate team on month end process and generate relevant overview.
• Act as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations.
• Any other assignment as provided by manager

 Project

• Responsible on leading ERP implementation project on general account section and assist full finance team.
• Responsible on managing the operational activities of expansion project together with another project team.

Accounting and Reporting

• Full compliance with Senselet accounting and reporting policies, regulations and Codes.
• Understand and adherence to Government rules and regulations
• Develop flash & BSR reports analysis and recommend the right actions
• Execute Monthly and Year-end Closes and follows up of timely books of accounts and work closely with internal and appointed auditors and make sure that their suggestions, comments and recommendations are appropriately incorporated.
• Own Monthly asset tagging process, Year-end fixed asset count and generate report on the status. 

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA degree in Accounting

Experience:

• Minimum of experience 5 years out of which 3 years as Senior Accountant

Skills

• Good analytical and critical-thinking skills
• A good understanding of accounting principles and financial numbers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using Peachtree financial software
• Keen attention to detail
