KMG-Ethiopia is a board led local CSO that works to improve the social and economic life of women, girls and marginalized groups through integrated development interventions linking economy, society and ecology. KMG is interested to recruit a competent professional for the Ethiopia social accountability project phase three (ESAP3) Gender and Social Inclusion Expert:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads the project team in gender equality and social inclusion in all activities planning and budget forecasting.;
  • She will provide technical and coaching support to all the Woreda SA expert in Gender and Social Inclusion; 
  • joint monitoring technical support trips with project team as per the needs of the Woreda SA experts;
  • Help other staffs to develop gender and social inclusion knowledge and skills
  • Co-facilitate social mapping and gender training, and support active SA expert collaboration with Woreda FTA/PFM (gender budgeting),;
  • Collaborates with the project team in providing training to WSAEs
  • Coordinates and provides awareness creation about gender and social inclusion s;
  • Facilitates social mapping and gender training
  • Preparing and submitting relevant periodic reports to the Project Coordinator

Location: Durame

Required No.  1

Terms of Employment: One year contract with possibility of extension based on performance

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

Minimum requirements

  • BA/MA degree governance, gender and development, gender studies, community development and other relevant social science fields
  • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience for BA and 4 years for MA 
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in facilitating training on gender social inclusion, social accountability concepts and tools
  • Very good knowledge of gender and social inclusion
