Job Requirements

Educational Requirement :

Essential

• Nursing diploma from a recognized health colleges
• Minimum two year experience with INGO/NGO of Infant and young Child Feeding practices /treatment of malnourished children in nutrition program (TSFP) implementation – case definition and care, clinical management, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health workers, etc
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Amharic
• High commitment to work with pastoral communities in remote and challenging environments

Desirable

• Knowledge of good local language (Afar and Tigrigna) and experience on pastoral community based project intervention (Emergency Nutrition focused) is an advantageous.
• Work experience in Health Service Extension Program is an asset.
