Job Description

The Role Summary

The purpose of this position is to manage liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations, manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works, play a leading role of sharing and owning tax policies, manual, compliance and planning. The incumbent is responsible to improve company’s process and continuously conduct audit on the Company’s tax compliance.

Result Areas & Responsibilities

Tax Compliance

  • Develop and govern tax policies with respect to income tax, VAT, Withholding, Excise, Loading, stamp duty, profit and any applicable tax
  • Review tax calculations, estimates and assists the people in the accounts payable department in tax computations and filing.
  • Leading and assuring compliancy to the company’s tax calendar.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax relates submissions.

Minimize tax liabilities

  • Legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations
  • Review current and deferred tax provision

Define a risk management system

  • Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management
  • Maintain tax preparation system and improve it continuously.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks

Stay Updated on tax laws

  • Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area.
  • Aware staffs on tax update & Signatures

Job Requirements

The incumbent:

This role is positioned at the professional level and requires someone who has experience in the finance sector specifically in tax management. This person will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive, dynamic, and exciting work atmosphere.

  • BA Degree in Accounting and Finance and equivalent work experience, ideally 6 plus years of relevant experience with good communication and expression ability.
