Job Summery

• The Data Analytics Engineer provides data integration work, including but not limited to developing data model, maintaining data warehouse, and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis. The role holder is also responsible to engage on defining requirements, mine and analyze data, integrate data from a variety of sources, and avail high quality data pipeline.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.

Experience

• Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience

Required Technical Competency

• Familiar with challenges related to big data analytics.
• Familiar with challenges related to unstructured data analytics
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Familiar with emerging data management and analytics technologies
• Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Ability to translate / reflect the bank’s business behavior into structured information
• Ability to apply GDPR and privacy policy
• Ability capture, storage, analyze, data sets, that are complex and large, not structured and in different formats
• Experience in working with Data Engineering Tools.
• Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting.
• Direct experience with data management techniques.
• Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with relational, SQL and No SQL databases.
• Fluency with at least one scripting language
• Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources
• Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
• Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Extensive experience in systems and storage capacity management, maintenance, forecasting and lifecycle planning focused on business requirements.
• Hands-on knowledge of configuration management tools.
• Experience in VMware virtualization design, build and administration.
• Experience with SQL administration and SQL tool sets.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
