We are pleased to announce the vacancy for a Senior Specialist - IP Networks within the Enterprise Business Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below. 

Detailed Description 

Reporting to EHOD - Enterprise Network Services, the position holder’s role will be to plan, design, implement, enhance and support all systems required for MPLS VPN, Broadband Internet, Dedicated Internet, etc.

The ability to transcend the traditional networking role to incorporate software defined systems and virtualization is of paramount importance.

Job Responsibilities 

• Provides user support to internal users and external customers (via Portal)
• Plan, design, build, test and maintain all Service Activation Systems.
• Development and maintain all documentation relating to architecture, configurations, interfaces and reports.
• Provide support to internal infrastructure teams during fault-finding and trouble shooting.
• Research trends and new developments in Service Activation and regularly update Management on strategic impact.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

• BSc Degree in Computer science, Computer Technology/engineering, Information Technology.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience on the implementation and maintenance of activation systems.
• Experience working in Telecommunications Industry
• Ability to assist with server architecture design and sizing
• Experience with TMF eTOM and ITIL
