Job Description

Detail responsibilities of the job include:

  • Under the direction of the Chairperson, schedule meetings.
  • Ensure quorum is present at the meetings.
  • Ensure proper notice is given to all for Board and Board’s subcommittee meetings.
  • Ensure the relevant documents for meetings are disseminated timely to all Board of Directors.
  • Attend Board, Board’s subcommittee and Sharia’h Advisory Council meetings.
  • Prepare minutes and ensure all in attendance members have singed.
  • Maintain custody of minutes and correspondences.
  • Provide support to the Board members by providing information with respect to board matters.
  • Closely follow up and update the Chairperson, Board of Directors about all legislative, regulatory and corporate governance developments that might affect the board’s operation.
  • Prepare and mange Annual General Assembly meeting in collaboration with the Bank’s management.
  • Prepare annual reports of the board’s activities for Annual General Assembly.
  • Ensure timely submission of required reports to the regulatory organs.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Chairperson, Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

Minimum qualification and work experience:

  • Master’s Degree BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business related fields with 6/8 years of work experience respectively of which 2 year in related responsibilities.
