Addis Ababa University, Ethiopian Institute of Water of Water Resources would like to invite qualified applicants who fulfill the following requirements. The applicants are expected to fully commit themselves to the vision of the University and be willing to teach graduate-level education, engage in conducting research and publication, and engage themselves in university and community services.

Qualification 

• Ph.D. in Groundwater hydrology, groundwater modeling, hydrogeology, or related fields obtained in 2018 or before.

Required Skills and Experience 

• Extensive experience in groundwater modelling, groundwater investigation, and assessment, analysis of surface-ground water interactions, aquifer systems, and hydro-geological analysis and mapping, groundwater pollutant transport, geostatistical analysis etc
• At least three years of proven research experience in the field other than their Ph.D. research work
• Proven track record of scientific publication in the fields
• At least 4 years of teaching and research experience in a higher education institution
• proven experience in supervision of graduate students' research in the field.
