Job Description:
Plan, organize and spearhead market expansion of the firm and promote the products as appropriate. He/she is also expected to handle all public relation issues of the company.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize, act and activities to the sales & marketing in relation to product quality, price, product advertisement and customer handling and public relation.
- Conduct research and collect, data & analyze information to be used both internally and externally on the competitive position of the company in the market.
- Make advertising in order to promote the service and product of the company.
- Prepare and issue consolidated reports on operational & capital budget utilization of the firm with analysis costs, sales & profits on quality and yearly basis.
- Prepare statistical data on price, prospective clients, purpose of visit, product quality and income earned in local & foreign currency
- Co-operate with other departments of the firm to achieve the organizational objectives of the company
- Handle all public related issues according to the policies of the company.
- Advise and suggest on the services development, prices, and promotion and sales outlets of the farm.
- Perform other marketing duties assigned by the CEO/Managing Director.
Job Requirements
- BA Degree and above in Marketing Management, Business Management and related field of studies.
Work Experience
- Two up to five years of relevant work experience, good experience with international and local market.
Required Competence
- Advanced skill computer in Microsoft words and other relevant marketing software’s, driving license, good command on English language, report writing and presentation skill is mandatory.
Technical and Other Skills
- Ability to provide leadership, communicates effectively and promotes a team approach
- Extensive knowledge of custom laws, rules and regulation
- Able to adjust to fast changing business conditions and is always result oriented
- Knowledgeable about market team administration and regulations as well as international marketing skills
- Able to communicate in English and Amharic efficiently both verbally and in written form. I.e. Additional Knowledge of local and international language is an Advantage
- Ability to identify major international clients to generate stable sales and prepare costing to offer prices to customers
