We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Pricing/CVM Manager within the Consumer Business Unit Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to the EHOD -Pricing & Planning, the position holder shall be responsible for designing pricing strategy that guarantees company margin while improving market share
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze mobile products (Voice, International, Data, SMS, VAS & Solution) performance and initiate pricing adjustment(s)
- Design and develop pricing concept and strategies for Mobile products
- Custodian of the budget performance
- Assist, Review and Approve business case from Product, Services, segments and terminals
- Establish right pricing strategy to accelerate subs intake
- Responsible for portfolio review and modification for maximum value extraction
- Responsible for advising product manager on the appropriate pricing tactics to avoid price wars and revenue dilution
- Responsible for activating pricing signal to the market Products control and monitoring (New / Changes)
- Evaluating business cases for ALL new products or products reviewed prior to HoD recommendation for further approvals.
- In collaboration with Geo-Marketing team, conducting competitive analysis of our products to those of competition.
- Conducting and reporting on post launch and reviews products’ performance.
Job Requirements
- University bachelor’s and master’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance focus preferred
- +2 years of demonstrated experience working in analytical roles such as data analytics, revenue assurance, Business Analysis, billing, and Finance
- +1 year of demonstrated experience in pricing
- Proficiency with MS office suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point
- Business Skills knowledge including statistical analysis, reporting and deep analytic skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments, establish and maintain professional business relationships with external and internal customers
- Strong accounting and/or math skills; ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, variance, and percentages
- Proven analytical skills
- Deep understanding of Mobile telecom products
