Job Description
Basic Functions: The USAID Project Management Specialist (President’s Malaria Initiative – PMI) provides technical leadership, management, and coordination of an array of programs/projects/activities designed to further PMI objectives through malaria control and elimination efforts, and through close coordination with appropriate host-country ministries and the private sector, to leverage U.S. Government inputs, and to raise domestic sources of funding to manage malaria programs.
Job Requirement
Qualifications required:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the field of public health, with a focus on clinical and/or field work in public health involving malaria
- A minimum of a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), or Master’s in Nursing degree, or a degree as a Public Health Physician in a field involving and/or related to clinical and/or field work in malaria, or equivalent.
Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities.
Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN-11 – $22,927 to $41,263, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr.
Location of Work: USAID/US Embassy Entoto Road
