Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arranging the selection of disaster affected communities as target beneficiaries in cooperation with the project officer, facilitator, line local government & community representative and selection committees
- Facilitating beneficiary screening and verification process
- Managing and responding to compliance or reporting to emergency response local person
- Arranging beneficiary accountability and feedback mechanisms
- Arranging start up training
- Follow up the proper storage and safety of food and non-fund/NFI at main warehouse
- Arranging food assistance and NFI distribution mechanism and follow up
- Facilitation post distribution monitoring (house to house visit)
- Facilitating market assessment and reporting
- Preparing progress and terminal report & submit to EKHCDC emergency response local person & to the line offices of the government in project intervention areas
- Following up the assisting project officer, facilitators, volunteers and project committees
- Working in close with the Emergency Response Focal person, CBOs and line government office
Duty Station: Dessie Town with field visit to project intervention Kebeles

Job Requirements
Education:
- BA degree from recognized College/Universities in Management, Economics. Sociology, Social Anthropology, Geography, and other related fields of study
Experience:
- Minimum of 5years of experience in emergency response project management & coordination with special focus on food or (NFI) distribution
Additional skills required:
- Experience in field work with local & religious organizations
- Fluent communication skills in local languages and English (listening, speaking and writing)
- Skill in team work & interpersonal communication
- Skill in compliance handling and managing feedbacks
- Knowledge in Core Humanitarian standards and polices
- Knowledge of organization mission, vision, values and policy
