Major duties & responsibilities
- Conducting needs assessment for ERR project and compiling findings
- Developing ERR concept notes based on the findings
- Following up ERR projects and providing technical support to field staff
- Developing progress and term report of active ERR projects
- Arranging project documentation
- Generating innovation and new ways for the best achievement of ERR work
- Promoting new strategies to optimize target beneficiaries income and means of living livelihood especially in restoration and rehabilitation programs
- Developing compliance Response Mechanisms in project intervention areas
- Arranging beneficiary accountability and feedback mechanisms
Duty Station: Addis Ababa with field visit to project intervention areas
No of Position: One (1)
Job Requirements
Education:
- BSc/MSc degree from recognized College/Universities in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics. Geography, and Marketing & related fields of study
Experience:
- Minimum of 5years of experience in emergency response project management & coordination with special focus on food and cash distribution and integrated rural development projects
Additional skills required:
- Experience in field work with local & disaster affected communities
- Fluent communication skills in local languages and English (listening, speaking and writing)
- Skill in cooperative and team work and interpersonal communication
- Skill in compliance handling and managing feedbacks
- Knowledge in Core Humanitarian standards and polices
- Knowledge of organization mission, vision, values and policies
