We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Logistics Manager – Distribution and Customer Fulfilment in Supply Chain Management within Finance function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager- Logistics & Distribution, this role encompasses the overall customer demand fulfillment and service responsibility and accountability. It’s purpose is to optimize product demand fulfillment through co-ordination of daily customer sales order flows and delivery performance, in order to achieve the company’s sales targets. This role works closely with Sales and Marketing, Technology, and outsourced (3PL) logistics service providers.

Job Responsibilities

Customer demand fulfillment and service.

Develop and maintain systems and processes for all aspects of Dealer sales order fulfillment, and third party logistics service provision to customers, based on the following key deliverables to meet sales objectives

  • Define and maintain high standards in daily product order fill rates to support company sales targets.
  • Manage mini-store stock replenishment plans
  • Drive daily sales order fulfilment to achieve SLAs and operational efficiency

Manage 3PL provider services

  • Shape and manage the services of the 3PL providers to ensure operational efficiency and high standards of services to Customers
  • Set and track SLAs for service provision
  • Define and manager performance standards

Quality and Customer services

  • Continuously track the quality of supplied vouchers and SIM cards and their market performance to ensure they meet business targets and objectives
  • Implement and maintain systems and processes for capturing customer issues and providing resolutions and tracking to ensure that customer CDI meets or exceeds company targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical Field or Equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Function especially in Planning, Inventory and Supply Chain Operations
  • Additional professional qualification in Supply Chain will also be considered e.g. CSCP, CIPS, CILT
  • Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP will be an added advantage
