Senior Dozer Mechanic (Gambella Farm#01)

Main purpose of the job

To ensure the heavy equipment machinery are repaired and serviced with high caliber expertise and care at a reasonable cost

Main responsibilities

• Inspecting trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance
• Diagnosing faults using testing equipment
• Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts
• Repairing damaged equipment parts
• Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles
• Performing major repair work when necessary
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to technique head

Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

• Basic high school Certificate
• Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic
• Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
• Understanding of testing technologies
• Ability to lift heavy machinery
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment
• Ability to work after-hours if required
• Good communication skills
