Job Summary

• Planning and Evaluation Officer directly reports to COO and participate in the preparation of short, medium and long term plans and work programs of Company and monitors the implementation of the plans. Compiles statistical data and reports periodically on Company’s performance in various areas of operations.

   Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and Evaluation Officer directly reports to the COO and Participate in Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and supervising the overall activities of the Service.
• Prepares Company’s short, medium and long term plans and budgets related to the plans with participation of organizational units of the Company in accordance with time frames set for preparation of plans and work programs.
• Follows-up implementation of approved plans and work programs by preparing and submitting periodic reports with appropriate analysis to management.
•  Compiles comparative statistics and performance indicators of the Company periodically, identifies and analyzes Company’s strengths and weaknesses in the areas of project implementation, resource utilization---etc.
•  Ensures that research and planning work are undertaken based on appropriate methodology, data collection and analysis as well as in a professional and objective manner.
• Compiles statistical data and reports periodically on Company’s performance in various areas of operations.
• Disseminates statistical data, research findings, publications and reports in time to appropriate target groups in the Company and to concerned higher bodies.
• Ensures that the team is adequately staffed, the staff are effectively deployed and adequately trained to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in performing their tasks.
• Ensures efficient flow and completion of the team work in time.
• Prepares reviews and submits annual budget work program and periodic activity report of the Team.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

 Educational Type and Level

• First Degree in Economics/Management

  Work Experience

• First Degree in Economics/Management and 6 years relevant experience
