JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Group Manufacturing Director, the Plant Manager is responsible and accountable for the planning, coordination and control of the site manufacturing operations. The PM ensures that, goods are produced efficiently at the correct amount, the right cost and at the mandatory level of quality. The PM is the first senior manager of the manufacturing site, and as such is the fully responsible of managing the site of the manufacturing operation. The PM oversee all other non-manufacturing function activities on site and ensure alignment to the overall site operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES:

• Ensure that the vision, mission, objectives, strategies and policies set by the company are implemented and complied;
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
• Develop and implement company annual budget; prudently manages the company resources
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
• Review of overall operations to implement policies, plans, programs and budgets
• Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
• Legal and statutory compliance to operate the manufacturing operations.
• Working out the human and material resources needed;
• Drafting a timescale for the job
• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control program;
• Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
• Ensuring that health, safety and environment guidelines are followed;
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
• Reviewing worker performance;
• Identify training needs.

Job Requirement

• BSC/MSc degree in Chemistry/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain
• ERP software Knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office

Experience:

• 10+ years experience in Manufacturing Operations (production, SHE, Quality are must)
