Main purpose of the job

To monitor and manage all fuel, lubricants and Tyre use of the company in collaboration with the storekeeper ensuring all procedures, storage, use standards are uncompromised 

Main responsibilities

• Inspect and record all the storage, distribution, and use of fuel, lubricants, and Tyres by keeping all store procedures and standards
• Ensure all issued and delivered fuel, oil and Tyre are kept and used properly
• Ensure that all items received for issue on a store requisition voucher are properly signed by authorized personnel only
• Notifies the central store head before items run out of stock
• Supervise carefully all fuel, lubricant, and Tyre materials upon receipt
• Ensure that fuel, lubricant, and Tyre items are properly distributed to users under stores issue vouchers only and received all used material records or items
• Participate in inventory
• Document timely use of fuel, lubricant, and Tyre as per company standards and report any discrepancies

Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

• Diploma from technical colleges in supply chain and material handling management and related fields
• 5 years and above work experience related to transport and technique stores
• Excellent knowledge of material management and handling
• Certified in Kaizen and Six-sigma is a privilege
• Good analytical skills, with the ability to generate good reports and material recording and handling skills
• Excellent basic computer skills
• Good interpersonal and work ethics skills of the highest order
