Purpose of the job

Coordinate, manage and control all activities on electromechanical shop, follow up the proper functioning of factory utilities, Brewhouse, Filtration, RAW material handling machines. Follow up and coordinate all mechanical & electrical works performed in the section.

 Main duties & responsibilities

• Ensures and takes responsibility for the availability of consumable materials in quantity and quality that are in use at the factory.
• Ensures the quality and condition of all hand tools and machineries which is used by the workers
• Controls the quality setting out in the factory utilities, Brewhouse, Filtration, RAW materiel handling machines.
• Inspect and follow up the maintenance of the machine to be performed on time in relation to the yearly budgeted program.
• Follow up with the external technicians on the different maintenance scheduled ..... Prepare a time sheet and reporting the work progress, acting as the main technical adviser on maintenance activities
• Plan work program, assign workers, follow up and confirm the work in progress and give corrective action if there is any deviation from the work plan.
• Ensure all the workers are on duty and control them that they are working according to the work schedule.
• Follow up and confirm repair and maintenance works conducted timely, effectively, standardly, and cost-effectively.
• Orient and guide workers on the proper method of repair work, installations, and operational standards; furthermore support professionally to enable them to achieve the company's continual improvement.
• Check plans, drawings, technical and maintenance manuals available and accessible to the different technicians.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of spare part for the machines
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the different task performed in order to meet agreed on deadlines
• Keep the cleanness of the working area and the machines which are a mandatory
• Confirm the implementation of work procedures of the section which are developed by the company.
• Resolve minor workers conflict and questions raised by workers of the section, control workers absenteeism, and evaluate work in progress
• Submit different section work report to immediate supervisor and other concerned sections.
• Perform any other related tasks as required ordered by immediate supervisor & concerned person of the company.
• Ensure all quality system procedures are being implemented and records kept in the section.
• Ensure a safe working environment by contributing to the implementation of Health and Safety policy, systems, and procedures
• Confirm the use of safety devices among section employees
• Establish that all equipment, plant, and substances used are suitable for the task and are kept in
• good working condition; this includes the regular maintenance and servicing of equipment used base on the activities
• Take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to health and safety arising from the work activity and report to the concerned department.

Job requirements

• Ability to read drawings and procedures high standard materials with minimal supervision
• Good competence skill in particular pack Office, AUTO CAD,
• Have the ability to work under pressure when required
• Ability to anticipate and rapid decision making
• Team player with good communication skills
• Sound judgment informed by extensive practical knowledge and experience
• Able to handle conflict and resolve differences of opinion

Expected Education and Experience

• Bachelor degrees 8 to 10 years experience
