Scope of work
The assignment is developing Video production which highlights and expounds CPAR’s Remote Ultrasound Antenatal Access (RUAA) pilot project. The video will highlight the key participants in this project, including the direct beneficiaries which are women and young adolescent women of childbearing age in North Shoa Zone, Oromia who access the facilities; healthcare staff including midwives, physicians, and administrators; extension workers and volunteers; as well as partner organizations.
The main duties and responsibilities of the consultant will be:
- Develop A 45-60 second commercial that shows the benefits of attending prenatal appointments and having ultrasound imaging done. It would promote our Saturday clinics, informing our audience that they can attend the clinic without an appointment and receive prenatal care. The tone for the commercial should be informative and sincere emphasizing the ease with which women can protect themselves and their babies.
- Develop Video Production Creative Brief (Documentations). The video will follow the activities in the clinics such as the reception of pregnant women, obstetrical imaging, and particularly the use of telemedicine as an innovative approach to meet the need for obstetric services, briefly showing the training process of healthcare staff, campaigning activities, and the efforts to deliver educational programs to pregnant women and girls.
- Develop budget proposal for the production of A 45-60 second commercial and Video Production Creative Brief (Documentation).
- The video will be made available in English, Oromo, and Amharic language versions. The interviews and narrations will be subtitled in all languages but initially Oromo and Amharic.
