Assign motor vehicles and drivers to different work units of the Company as per established procedure. Schedules vehicle dispatch based on requests of work units. Maintains records of fleet movement, fuel consumption etc.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives transport service requests and assigns motor vehicles and drivers accordingly.
• Prepares transportation schedule indicating departure and arrival of vehicles.
• Maintains records of mileage, lubricant and fuel consumption of each vehicle.
• Schedules vehicle repairs and maintenance works.
• Issues fuel coupons and the like in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares periodic reports on the number of vehicles dispatched, mileage covered fuel and lubricants consumption, etc.
• Distributes keys of in-city service vehicles to drivers and collects the same before the close of working hours and keeps the keys in safe custody.
• Requests the purchase of fuel coupons before they are fully utilized.
• Follows-up the proper and efficient utilization of fuel.
• Handles and responds to other urgent request related to transport dispatch when assigned by the supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

  Education

• Minimum TVET (10+4)/ Level IV in Management OR Auto-mechanics OR related fields 

Experience

• 2 years relevant work experience
