• Manage operations for multi-clients for air/sea/road / rail shipments
• Coordinate and monitor operations with other logistics staff (e.g. officer liaison, truck drivers , assessor …etc.) according to availabilities and requirements to ensure timely delivery
• Prior to operation commencement provide proper information to clients to ensure expectations reflect reality of operations in terms timing and procedures
• Keep management informed when challenges occur and suggest solutions to ensure clients are satisfied
• Ensure regular and proper communication (emails and phones) example: reporting with customers and networks current status.
• Ensure positive team work to provide excellent customer service experience
• Ensure operations comply with Massida quotations sent to the client as per their request.
• Follow company rules and regulations
• Utilize provided IT systems (emails, software and Microsoft tools) to optimize procedures and coordination
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet client’s requirements
• Request Management approval for suppliers operations when needed (e.g.: trucks and equipment suppliers)
• Negotiate with suppliers, retailers, customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Ensure draft documents are correct and that all the required documents for customs clearance are provided to Massida Djibouti in timely manner
• Liaison with Djibouti office and update the daily status of files in the pipeline
• Assisting on invoicing by compiling files: - customer original docs, ECD, expenses incurred, quotations, Djibouti invoices, delivery notes
• Keep logs and record of executed operations (Excel tracker).
• Prepare accurate reports for upper managements.
• Any other related work assigned by the company.

Contract type: Regular - Permanent 

Job Requirements

• Minimum two years in Logistics Sector
• Excellent communication skills with good back ground of Operation Coordination
