Job Description

General Overview of the job

  • The role of the job is to work with agents, network support officers, Call center staffs , Sales and distribution support, RM’S and other company teams to support agent sales process. The tele agent sales support officer is expected to constantly conduct outbound calls to support agent selling process ; handle agents complaints; diagnose and troubleshoot problems; manage agent queries and problems end-to-end to the highest level and answer some inbound calls from agents and address issues. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Agent data cleanup tasks using excel and other Microsoft tools.  
  • Constant Outbound calls of agents to onboard them on new products and then follow-up on their sales progress.
  • Make a utilization of Agents day to day follow up and support trackers.
  • Ensure compliance of agent registration and activation.
  • Constantly perform tele based Agent coaching and evaluations.
  • Manage Agents ticket update and resolutions.
  • Update and develop forms and records to document agents sales support activities.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing agent information.
  • Identify skill and knowledge gaps among agents and recommend trainings and capacity building.
  • Work with training team to customize agents training modules in regional context.
  • Conduct the overall agent onboarding process (Interview, Recruitment, Training, Activation, Coaching, Auditing)
  • Audit the implementation of agent’s sales process on the ground and recommend adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful sales performance.
  • Continuously Produce reports on the agent’s sales performance.
  • Communicate with sales and distribution support officers about all issues encountered.

Nature of the Job: Temporary/ three months with possibility of extension  

Required Post:  5 (Two fluent Afan Oromo speaking and three fluent Amharic speaking )

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Collage Diploma or University degree in business administration, business management, Marketing, or other area relevant to sales field. Zero work experience but any virtual sales management experience is advantageous.
