Job Description

Job Summary 

Under HRM department perform a variety of administrative tasks and should be passionate about human resource policies, principles, practices, procedures and willing to help create a nourishing workplace. 

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist in all HR functions (recruitment, preparing job descriptions, posting ads, training, performance management, benefits administration etc.) 
  • Maintain soft copy of up-to-date employee records
  • Ensuring that up-to-date information is on file for company employees.
  • Completes paperwork and data entry for employee performance, all leave types, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves
  • Process employee enquiries and provide relevant information
  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
  • Post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes
  • Manage the department’s telephone calls and address queries accordingly
  • Manage the department’s correspondences (both internal& external)
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
  • Provide orientations for new employees
  • Perform other duties as may be required   

Job Requirements

First Degree in Public Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, SSOM or related

2 years related work experience   

Other Competency Requirements

  • Familiarity with HR software
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian labor law
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Teamwork skills
