Description of Duties

• Develop and maintain financial data bases.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Make sure that posting are properly and timely made.
• Prepare payment Vouchers, receive money and issue receipts invoices.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedure.
• Prepare employees payroll every month.
• Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation.
• Administer stock and reconcile with the store.
• Collect bank statements of each account monthly and timely.
• Maintain an efficient filing system and documents on daily basis.
• Keep all financial documents properly and up to date.
• Responsible for settlement of profit tax, income tax pension fund, withholding tax .etc. on time.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial management report.
• Ensure accurate and timely, monthly, quarterly and end close.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
• Monitor and support taxation issue.
• Assists the IGA manager in developing and implementing a good internal control system.
• Ensure that all government taxes laws and regulation are strictly adhered to and taxes are paid on time.
• Provide adequate financial information to external Auditors Whenever necessary.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting
• 2 years for Degree/ 4 Years for Diploma on business sectors
• Experience on manufacturing sector is advantageous
