Solidaridad Ethiopia is currently implementing initiatives in the cotton, textile, leather & coffee commodities in collaboration with the Ethiopian government and private sector partners & stakeholders.

Solidaridad established a country office in Ethiopia since November 2015 with registration # 3531. The office re-registered on July 11, 2019 under the CSO proclamation 1113/2019.

Objectives: To conduct gap identification, prepare an improvement action plan and training manual on the overall performance of factories regarding safety and health under GTI project.  

SCOPE

The intended OHS related consultancy service is intended for three factories located

around Addis Ababa and one located near Modjo city.    

OUTPUTS AN DELIVERABLES

The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks and deliverables:

• Conduct gap assessment and improvement action plan for each factories
• Establish and give on-site training for five factory safety committee for each factories for two days
• Develop training manual specific tailored to each factories

Service fee: submit your service fee under financial proposal

TIMELINE

The time frame for this work will be one month after signing a contract agreement.

EVALUATION

The consultancy should deliver a technical and financial proposal that will be assessed as follows:

Technical proposal: 70%

Financial Proposal: 30%

• Track record and demonstrated experience regarding OHS training
• Proven experience on providing training on leather/textile supply chain
• Proven capability to deliver on tight deadlines
• All legal documents are required
