Position Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversees the overall administration and day-to day operations of the association including services, financial resources personnel and property as per the policy set forth by the Executive Committee
- Develops and leads the execution of short and long term strategies and projects based on the vision and mission of the association as authorized by the Executive Committee
- Assess the needs of members of the association and allocate resources accordingly
- Monitor and evaluate the activities of the program coordinator, the finance and admin head, and other staff
- Identifies and builds alliances and partnerships with other Organizations.
- Involves in the decision making of hiring of new staff
- Executes and administers all contracts as authorized by the Executive Committee
- Ensure that Executive members and Chairs of Committees are informed of matters that warrant their attention
- Assists the President in developing an agenda for Executive Committee meetings and keeps regular record of minutes
- Provide regular reports to the Executive Committee about activities of the organization
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in a relevant Health Related discipline (Preferably Medical Degree)
- Five (5) years’ experience in either leadership roles in professional associations (Preferably Health related), or in a senior management position/ administrative roles in healthcare settings in Ethiopia
- Female applicants are encouraged
