Job Description

Job Summary

Ensure consistency of product throughout the kitchen, look after the breakfast and its product quality.

Supervise service ensuring presentation of food is compliant with restaurant standards.

Assist the Sous Chef in menu compilation and possess an in depth knowledge of the full menu, 

Help develop the junior chefs.

Running of the kitchen on a day to day basis in the absence of the Head Chef.

Job Requirements

  • Hotel School / Culinary School Certificate
  • COC(Certification  of Occupational Competency) Certificate(Level II & above) is a must
  • Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef/Chef de Partie/ De Coisine (or minimum 1 years as a Demi Chef de Partie/2 years Commis I ) in 4*/5* Hotel.
  • Experience working with & supervising Cooks on a daily bases
  • Knowledgeable of classic & modern culinary preparation, garnishing, dishes and cooking
