Job Summary

Responsible for performing maintenance work are on time and they are done without affecting production schedules, and also responsible for making sure there is enough stoke of spare parts, oil and other material

• Based on the guideline received from his/her line manager he/she will lead and coordinate the Engineering planning and control work
• Prepares the service`s budget and program and when it is approved he will prepare a program and implement it
• Prepares electrical and mechanical maintenance schedules for production and supporting materials
• Checks whether the share company`s production materials, electric and electronic materials and other mechanical machineries are properly documented
• Follows if the mechanical maintenance schedule is prepared with concerned heads
• Checks and controls whether the maintenance of production and electronic and electric equipment is done according to the schedule Confirms whether spare parts needed for maintenance are provided and makes sure there is enough stoke
• Plans maintenance schedule that goes along with production plan and implement
• Checks there is a maintenance record file for equipment are maintained.
• Checks the maintenance work is effective and performed according to the schedule, resolves performance problems with the concerned heads
• Checks the work of the departments is in line with local performance guideline, designs the necessary working ways for the system, implements
• Checks and confirms the work of the departments is in line with quality work guideline, coordinates employees under him
• Checks quality work guideline and local work performance guideline are in line with the regular work
• Prepares and submits a report to his line manager concerning the works done and the problems encountered
• Designs a way for employees to get training in their field
• Controls the work of employees under him, assesses their performance

Job Requirements

• BSc in Mechanical or Industrial/Electrical Engineering
• Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Relevant 5 years’ experience in similar work field at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Experience in the beverage or FMCG industry is preferable
• Fluency in Amharic and excellent command of written & spoken English
• ERP standards knowledge
