Purpose of the Job:
To drive the revenue growth and long-term profitability of the Company by designing and implementing effective revenue and customer management strategies, programs and policies to targeted markets, exploiting attractive market opportunities, managing the development and commercialization of products and services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships. Forward for upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.
- Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes aim at preserving customers and renew contracts.
- Approach potential customers to establish relationships and to gain solid knowledge of competitors.
- Work on sector leads and generate referrals from every visit that's made to existing sector customer base.
- Offer best in class sales experience while on boarding customers.
- Achieve sales targets as assigned by the organization month-on-month basis.
- Cross sell and up sell company's products based on the needs of the customers and as defined by the organization.
- Meeting the customers to solicit company's products based on appointments in the course of daily activities.
- Maintain good relationships with clients so that the business can maximize the value of those relationships.
- Participate in one-on-one meetings with clients to explain services in an effort to guide their choices.
- Understand the problems and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could better address those needs.
- Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess activities of competitors to proactively satisfy and retain clients.
- Provide excellent service in order to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
- Resolve any customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Develop strategic revenue and customer management plan based on the Company’s business aspirations.
- Define short and long-term marketing goals, and corresponding marketing programs and initiatives, making profit and loss trade-offs to deliver revenue and profit objectives.
- Lead the development of market segmentation framework, definition of market segments and specific marketing mix and sales programs appropriate to each segment.
Generic Duties of the Position:
- Develop and implement the Division’s plans and objectives.
- Develop, approve and monitor the Division’s budgets.
- Identify human resources requirements of the Division and develop plan for meeting the requirements.
- Develop, implement and review relevant divisional policies and procedures.
- Review, approve and submit Divisional reports to relevant organs.
- Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.
- Manage disciplinary concerns of the Division’s staff.
- Represent the Division in internal and external relationships.
- Participate in group decision making process by forming part of different groups/committees.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years in a supervisory position
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience of which four (4) years in a supervisory position.
- Relevant driving license is a requirement
