CARE Ethiopia is seeking eligible & competitive consultants to study Impacts of COVID 19 on Women in Ethiopia. The research will target and sample women and girls from CARE and EUTF program areas. Research participants will be mainly from women and girls under various circumstances; IDPs, returnees, refugees, potential migrants and host communities as well as women working in the formal settings such as industrial parks. The research focuses mainly on answering impacts of COVID 19 in the EUTF intervention areas: resilience, jobs and migration. As such, the research will be conducted in 4 Woreda of Oromia and Amhara regions with possibility of considering industrial parks in Addis Ababa. The research engages EUTF partners in various stages like validation and dissemination.

How to Apply

All bidders shall submit sealed technical and financial bids in a separate envelop. Consultancy firms shall present renewed trade and legal licenses along their bid documents to CARE Ethiopia country office located in Addis Ababa, Hayahulet Mazoria, Behind Lex Plaza Building, and Near Ha Geez Restaurant on or before January 6, 2021 until 4pm (10:00 Local time).

The consultant should have presumably good understanding and preferably business experience in past similar work in gender, resilience and job creation under the Ethiopian context.
