Job Description

Best Western Plus Pearl Addis is a global brand hotel chain perfectly located with only 2 Kms distance from Bole International Airport and just a short walk distance from Bole Medhanialem Cathedral.

  • To manage the recruitment of all team members and to liaise with all Department Heads accordingly, this includes interviewing job applicants, review applications/CVs, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications, experience and suitability.
  • Maintain human resources data-bases, and manual filing systems in accordance with the HR audit requirements.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning team member’s related data.
  • Prepare monthly, staff turnover report, and vacancy report and recruitment status report.
  • Identify laws and regulations pertaining to the employment and administration of personnel. 
  • Implements and revises policies and procedures in line with the company benchmarks and employment law regulation.
  • Maintain good contact with Local Authority (Police, Medical facilities)
  • Undertake any reasonable request made by management, team member or any other department
  • Maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities /colleges, local schools and other recruitment sources.
  • Ensure that performance appraisals are up to date, carried out proficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented and associate-oriented company culture.
  • Cooperate and interact with other departments to provide additional/outstanding guest services.

Job Requirements

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in as HR Manager.
  • Honest, hard-working and committed
  • Modern, dynamic hard worker
  • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience of HR systems.
  • Proven ability to motivate and communicate skills and techniques to others as a manager, trainer, advisor or consultant
