Job Description

WaterAid Ethiopia needs to employ a Senior Urban WASH Consultant for a limited period of time. The purpose of the post is to planning regional workshops, stakeholder meetings, and undertaking monitoring visits for 18 cluster lead towns. 

Output and success criteria of the Consultant’s role are:

• Provide technical support for project regions and cluster lead towns for successful implementation of Phase II project;
• Conduct joint field monitoring and coaching support to cluster lead towns in 3 regions (Oromia, Amhara, and Tigray);
• Conduct field-based WASH rapid assessment in project regions and selected cluster lead towns; organize and analyze key WASH baseline data/information and share to respective partners;
• Organize and facilitate national and regional project review meetings, workshops, capacity development training coaching, and discussion platforms; 
• Follow-up the implementation of project budget supported plans and activities in cluster lead towns and regions;
• Plan, organize and facilitate annual review meeting (ARM) of Phase II project;
• Provide technical support on the rapid final evaluation of the 20 towns (Phase I) project;
• Support the preparation of 2020/21 phase II detail plan and start-up workshops;
• Document Phase II project best practices and learnings to be used for advocacy, influencing, and scale-up;
